He married Eveline Coates on 24 Mar 1923 in Mystic, Iowa[5], daughter of Joseph Coates and Mary Ann Harris. She was born on 15 Feb 1901 in Mystic, Iowa[6]. She died on 22 May 1989 in Ottumwa, Iowa.

2. Thomas Franklin Hoskins was born on 14 May 1859 in Princeton, Mercer Co., MO (Princeton, Missouri or Lee, Iowa)[7]. He was the son of 4. William Hoskins and 5. Nancy Cooley. He died on 25 Aug 1942 in Mystic, Appanoose, Iowa[7]. He married Sarah Elizabeth Bryan on 13 Apr 1884 in Bloomfield, Davis County, Iowa[8].
3. Sarah Elizabeth Bryan was born 27 Feb 1864 in Drakesville, Davis, Iowa[2, 9], died 07 Jan 1939 in Mystic, Appanoose, Iowa[9], married 13 Apr 1884 in Bloomfield Courthouse, Davis County, Iowa[8]. She was the daughter of 6. George Washington Bryan and 7. Sarah “Sally” Stokes.

Where you start in red. The mother of John Franklin Bryan is not known to be Charlotte “Lottie” Kennard. It is believed that he was either from a previous unrecorded marriage or that he was possibly illegitimate. Just an FYI. But other family research leads to his being the son of James Bryan indeed. He then married Lottie and continued on.
I believe that the George Washington Bryan mentioned in the previous response is definitely a different GWB.
